Our partner Redbox Automated Retail LLC is an American company famous for movie and video game rentals via automated retail kiosks located throughout the USA with tens of millions of customers. Over the last few years, Redbox has successfully expanded into the exciting world of digital streaming, with free movies, TV channels, and premium on-demand content. Redbox is now expanding its digital streaming platform and is looking for talented individuals to join its development teams located in Belgrade, Chicago, and Seattle.Our biggest engineering team is located in the Belgrade office and it's counting 37 members ready to expand further and welcome new colleagues to join them in their exciting journey. Our engineers are working on modern and cool technologies and in the following teams: .NET, Frontend, Android and iOS, QA, SDET, DevOps, and Data team.We’re currently modernizing our approaches to data and are seeking talented data engineers and scientists to help with our goals of a decentralized open data platform that enables the business to access and analyze data as easily as possible.Join our growing Redbox team as aData Integration and ETL DeveloperIn this role, you will join our Data team to help build a modernized data platform as we pivot from our on-premises data center to the cloud. You have ideally experience help building a distributed data warehouse and modeling out schemas to find business used in both denormalized and normalized views.You’ll help drive innovation, with a mission of bringing modern data practices into the teams with empowerment, collaborative partnership, and shared product ownership.Your responsibilities:

  • Work with the team and business stakeholders to define and develop data ingestion, validations and transform pipelines
  • Solution and Architect to help build a solid foundation in the cloud with a Data Pipeline Framework
  • Maintain, Troubleshoot and Support our Data Pipelines

Your profile:

  • Degree or Similar in Computer Science or related area
  • Spent a minimum of 3 years of experience developing large scale data pipelines in a cloud environment such as AWS or GCP
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Python or similar data orientated programming background
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
