The Opportunity

The Outcome Engineering team is responsible for building tools and services used by the Nutanix field sales organization all over the globe, including a public website to facilitate product demonstration and a private cloud of Nutanix clusters used for customer proof of concept and training exercises. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the development and support of custom software and tools used by the Nutanix field sales organization.

In this role, youll actively participate in design discussions, bringing your own ideas and perspectives to the table. You should be comfortable debugging and troubleshooting issues in existing applications, diving deep to identify and resolve problems efficiently.

Your Role

• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, software bugs, and user issues.
• Collaborate with team members and document product functionality.
• Propose and implement product and UI/UX enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code under guidance.
• Autonomously handle tasks and contribute to system integration.
• Use tools to monitor and troubleshoot environments.
• Maintain day-to-day operations for software and hardware.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 35 years of experience and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with front-end/back-end development, asynchronous programming, and version control (git).
• Preferred: JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Linux.
• Knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and social skills.
• Self-motivated with a lifelong learning mindset.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and collaborate effectively within a team.
  
  

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
